Connect Ezus to Grok (xAI)

The connector is currently in beta. It is safe to use on your account, and its features will keep evolving. Your feedback directly shapes what comes next.

The Ezus connector for Grok lets you query your data, check your files and automate certain operational tasks directly from Grok, xAI's AI assistant, without changing the way you work.

Once Ezus is connected, simply ask your question in plain language, for example "Which projects leave next week?". Grok looks up the answer in your Ezus account.

💡 The connector is available from the Ezus Premium plan.

What is MCP?

The connector relies on MCP (Model Context Protocol), a standard that lets an AI assistant access software securely. No technical skills are needed, and connecting takes just a few clicks.

By default, Grok can only view your Ezus data. To let it create or edit items as well (projects, products, payments…), ask your Ezus contact to enable write access.

1. Before you start

Check these points before you begin:

  • An Ezus Premium plan or higher.

  • A Grok account on grok.com. On a Grok Business or Enterprise account, an administrator must add Ezus first.

  • Your Ezus credentials: the email address and password you use to sign in to Ezus.

  • Your Ezus account's API key, available in Settings > Developers from https://pro.ezus.io/settings.

💡 This page is only accessible to administrators: if you are not an administrator, ask one of your Ezus account administrators for the key.

⚠️ The API key is private and must remain confidential. Only enter it in the Ezus sign-in window described in step 3 of the section below.

  • The Ezus server address, to copy exactly as is, with no spaces before or after: https://mcp.ezus.ai/mcp

2. Connect Ezus in 3 steps

  1. Open the Plugins section at the bottom of the left-hand sidebar (or go to grok.com/connectors).

  2. Add a custom connector. Click New Connector, then select Custom. Enter the MCP server URL: https://mcp.ezus.ai/mcp, then confirm.

  3. Connect your Ezus account. An Ezus sign-in window opens:

    • sign in with your usual Ezus credentials;

    • paste your API key into the Ezus API key field. If you are an administrator, a button takes you straight to the settings page where you can copy it;

    • confirm the key, then authorize access.

You are then redirected to Grok, which automatically detects the Ezus tools. Ezus shows in your list of connectors, labeled All tools enabled: all the Ezus tools available for your account are active. The API key is only requested once.

💡 If the Ezus sign-in window does not open, make sure your browser is not blocking pop-ups for grok.com.

Control what Grok can do

⚠️ Unlike other assistants, Grok does not ask for confirmation before creating or editing an item in Ezus: it carries out the action directly.

Word your requests precisely and always check the result in Ezus.

You can turn off individual Ezus tools that Grok should not use, for example the creation and editing tools:

  1. On grok.com/connectors, open the Ezus connector card.

  2. Click See more to display the list of tools.

  3. Turn off the tools of your choice.

If you only want to use Grok to view your data, we recommend turning off all creation and editing tools.

3. Using Grok Business or Enterprise?

A team administrator first adds Ezus for the whole organization. They sign in to console.x.ai, select the team, then go to Grok Business > Connectors. They then click + Add Connector, choose Other and enter https://mcp.ezus.ai/mcp.

Each member then signs in with their own Ezus credentials on grok.com/connectors (step 3 above). Each person therefore only sees what their Ezus rights allow them to see.

4. Your first questions

Once connected, open a new conversation on grok.com and ask your question. Grok automatically uses Ezus whenever your question relates to your Ezus data. To guide it more reliably, mention "Ezus" in your message.

Replace the items in square brackets with names from your own Ezus account.

Check the connection

  • "Who am I in Ezus?"

  • "List my last ten Ezus projects."

  • "Show me the program for the [name of one of your projects] project."

Find something by name

  • "Find the supplier [name of one of your suppliers] and list what it offers."

  • "Which transfers do we have in [city] for under €100?"

Save time every day

  • "Which confirmed trips in October still have unpaid invoices?"

  • "What's missing before I send the quote for the [name of one of your projects] project?"

If Grok shows your name or your projects, the connection works!

Frequently asked questions

How long does the connection last?

The session renews automatically for 90 days. After that, Grok simply asks you to reconnect.

Why does Grok say it can't create or edit anything?

That's the default behavior: the connector is read-only. To let Grok create or edit items, ask your Ezus contact to enable write access for your agency. The creation and editing tools are then available in Grok, with no further setup on your side.

Can Grok delete my data?

No. The connector has no delete function. Anything you want to delete must be deleted directly in Ezus.

What if Grok gets something wrong?

Grok carries out creations and edits directly, without asking for confirmation. Always check the result in Ezus. If you'd rather Grok didn't change anything, turn off the write tools in the connector card (see "Control what Grok can do").

What can Grok see in my Ezus account?

Grok accesses Ezus with your own credentials. It therefore only sees what your Ezus user rights allow you to see.

I can't find the API key.

The Settings > Developers page is reserved for Ezus account administrators. If you are not an administrator, ask one of them for the key.

I can't find the Custom option. What should I do?

On a Grok Business or Enterprise account, an administrator must add Ezus first from console.x.ai (see the callout in section 2). Otherwise, check that the address you entered ends with /mcp.

Grok doesn't use Ezus in my conversation

Mention "Ezus" in your question, or open a new conversation. If the problem persists, disconnect and reconnect Ezus once from grok.com/connectors.

Can I connect several Ezus accounts?

Yes. Add one connector per Ezus account, each with its own API key.

Can I stop at any time?

Yes. You can disconnect Ezus from grok.com/connectors. Your Ezus data stays intact.
