Connect Ezus to ChatGPT

The connector is currently in beta. It is safe to use on your account, and its features will keep evolving. Your feedback directly shapes what comes next.

The Ezus connector for ChatGPT lets you query your data, check your files and automate certain operational tasks directly from ChatGPT, OpenAI's AI assistant, without changing the way you work.

Once Ezus is connected, simply ask your question in plain language, for example "Which projects leave next week?". ChatGPT looks up the answer in your Ezus account.

💡 The connector is available from the Ezus Premium plan

What is MCP?

The connector relies on MCP (Model Context Protocol), a standard that lets an AI assistant access software securely. It is the same connector as the one used for Claude: no technical skills are needed, and connecting takes just a few clicks.

By default, ChatGPT can only view your Ezus data. To let it create or edit items as well (projects, products, payments…), contact us via the support to enable write access.

1. Before you start

Check these points before you begin:

  • An Ezus Premium plan or higher.

  • Your Ezus credentials: the email address and password you use to sign in to Ezus.

  • Your Ezus account's API key, available in Settings > Developers from https://pro.ezus.io/settings.

💡 This page is only accessible to administrators: if you are not an administrator, ask one of your Ezus account administrators for the key.

⚠️ The API key is private and must remain confidential. Only enter it in the Ezus sign-in window described in step 4 of the section below.

  • The Ezus server address, to copy exactly as is, with no spaces before or after: https://mcp.ezus.ai/mcp

2. Connect Ezus in 4 steps

  1. Open ChatGPT's Plugins section. On chatgpt.com, click your name in the bottom left corner, then Settings and Plugins.

  2. Add a custom MCP server. Click the + button, then Add custom MCP server. ChatGPT shows a security warning: read it, then confirm to continue.

  3. Fill in the connector details.

    • Name: Ezus

    • MCP server URL: https://mcp.ezus.ai/mcp

    • Authentication: OAuth

    • Click Create.

  4. Connect your Ezus account. A dialog box will appear; click the Continue to Ezus button, then:

    • sign in with your usual Ezus credentials;

    • paste your API key into the Ezus API key field. If you are an administrator, a button takes you straight to the settings page where you can copy it;

    • confirm the key;

    • on the screen asking you to authorize ChatGPT to read your account, review the requested access, then authorize it.

You are then redirected to ChatGPT, and Ezus shows in your list of plugins.

The API key is only requested once.

3. Using ChatGPT Business or Enterprise?

In a ChatGPT business workspace, only an admin or owner can add a custom connector and make it available to the team. If you don't see the option to create one, this is probably why.

  1. The admin turns on developer mode in Workspace settings > Permissions & Roles > Connected Data.

  2. They create the Ezus app in Workspace settings > Apps > Create, with the address https://mcp.ezus.ai/mcp, then test it.

  3. They publish it from Apps > Drafts by clicking Publish.

  4. Each user then finds Ezus in Settings > Apps, labeled custom, and signs in with their own Ezus credentials (step 4 above).

Each person therefore only sees in ChatGPT what their Ezus user rights allow them to see.

4. Your first questions

Once you're logged in, open a new conversation on chatgpt.com and ask one of the sample questions below. Replace the items in square brackets with names from your own Ezus account.

Check the connection

  • "Who am I in Ezus?"

  • "List my last ten projects."

  • "Show me the program for the [name of one of your projects] project."

Find something by name

  • "Find the supplier [name of one of your suppliers] and list what it offers."

  • "Which client sent us the most requests in 2025?"

Save time every day

  • "Which confirmed trips in October still have unpaid invoices?"

  • "Build a 5-day program in [city] in a new project." (requires write access)

If ChatGPT shows your name or your projects, the connection works!

Frequently asked questions

How long does the connection last?

The session renews automatically for 90 days. After that, ChatGPT simply asks you to reconnect.

Why does ChatGPT say it can't create or edit anything?

That's the default behavior: the connector is read-only. To let ChatGPT create or edit items, ask your Ezus contact to enable write access for your agency.

Can ChatGPT delete my data?

No. The connector has no delete function. Anything you want to delete must be deleted directly in Ezus.

What if ChatGPT gets something wrong?

ChatGPT asks you to confirm important actions before carrying them out. Always check the result in Ezus, especially the dates, the destinations and how a program is split across days.

What can ChatGPT see in my Ezus account?

ChatGPT accesses Ezus with your own credentials. It therefore only sees what your Ezus user rights allow you to see.

I can't find the API key.

The Settings > Developers page is reserved for Ezus account administrators. If you are not an administrator, ask one of them for the key.

I can't find the option to add a connector. What should I do?

Check that your ChatGPT plan is supported and that you are on chatgpt.com in a web browser. In a ChatGPT Business or Enterprise workspace, an admin must add Ezus first (see section 3). Otherwise, check that the address you entered ends with /mcp.

ChatGPT doesn't use Ezus in my conversation

Select Ezus from the + menu below the message box, or mention it in your message. If the problem persists, disconnect and reconnect Ezus once.

Can I use Ezus in the ChatGPT mobile app?

No. Custom connectors only work on chatgpt.com, in a web browser.

Can I connect several Ezus accounts?

Yes. Add one connector per Ezus account, each with its own API key, and name it after the account (for example "Ezus France").

Can I use Ezus with both Claude and ChatGPT?

Yes. The Ezus connector works with both assistants. For Claude, see Connect Ezus to Claude.

Can I stop at any time?

Yes. You can deselect Ezus in a conversation, or disconnect it in ChatGPT's settings. Your Ezus data stays intact.
