⚠️ Before editing your HTML template, duplicate it first. Keep the original template unchanged so you can return to it if a modification causes an unexpected result.
💡 If you are not comfortable modifying the HTML yourself, you can always use the Ezus Help Chat. An Ezus team member can assist you with the change.
Can I display all my alternatives on the same Web Page?
A Web Page cannot currently display the complete details of every alternative, including the program, accommodations and budget, one after another following the main proposal. This behavior is normal, since the program is specific to each alternative.
To learn more about how these alternatives work, check out our article ✍️ How to create an alternative of a project.
Here's what we recommend you do:
Generate a separate Web Page for each alternative.
Go to the alternative of your choice (the main one, for example) and publish your client space
Add the webpage of the current alternative
Add the other Web Pages (related to the other alternatives) to the Client space using an IFrame section: simply copy and paste the URL of the webpages.
It will allows you to have a tab for each alternative, with the program of the alternative.
Can I change fixed text, terms or footer content in my Web Page?
Yes. If the text is part of your HTML template, you can change it directly in the template.
First, identify whether the information is:
Fixed content that should remain the same across projects → edit the text directly in the HTML template.
Project-specific content that needs to change regularly → consider using a custom field instead, so the information can be entered in Ezus without editing the HTML each time.
If you only need to replace fixed text, you can use an AI assistant:
💬 I want to change the following text in my Ezus Web Page.
Current text:
[Paste the current text]
New text:
[Paste the new text]
Here is my current HTML:
[Paste your HTML here]
Please change only this text. Do not modify the Ezus variables, loops, styling or other sections.
⚠️ After making the change, generate the Web Page again and check that the text appears correctly before using the modified template with a customer.
Can I change the order of sections in my Web Page?
Yes. When changing the order, remember that the navigation menu and the corresponding HTML sections should remain consistent.
You can use an AI assistant:
💬 I want to change the order of the sections in this Web Page.
Please reorder both the navigation menu and the corresponding sections in the HTML so they follow this order:
[Section 1]
[Section 2]
[Section 3]
Do not change the content, Ezus variables, loops or styling. Only change the order of the sections and their corresponding navigation items.
Here is my current HTML:
[Paste your HTML here]
⚠️ Generate and test the Web Page after the modification to make sure each navigation link still opens the correct section.
Can I add a video to the hero of my Web Page?
Yes. A video can be integrated into the hero using an IFrame.
Because the video needs to be integrated into your existing Web Page structure, provide the current HTML when asking an AI assistant to make the change.
You can use:
💬 I want to add a video to the hero section of this Ezus Web Page using an IFrame.
Video URL:
[Paste the video URL]
Please integrate the IFrame into the existing hero. Keep the existing design and do not modify any Ezus variables, loops or other functionality.
Here is my current HTML:
[Paste your HTML here]
💡 Always provide the existing HTML so the video can be integrated into the current hero structure rather than creating an unrelated section.
After making the change, generate the Web Page again and test the video before using the template with a customer.
Why is my Web Page cover image blurry?
The cover image is retrieved from the first sub-destination of the project.
If the cover appears blurry, first check the source image associated with that sub-destination. A low-resolution image can lose quality when it is displayed across a large cover area.
To identify the image:
Identify the first sub-destination of your project.
Go to Catalog > Destinations.
Find the corresponding sub-destination.
Click the eye icon next to it to open it.
Check the media associated with the sub-destination.
If necessary, replace the image with a higher-resolution version.
Generate the Web Page again and check the cover.
⚠️ The cover is based on the first sub-destination, not simply any destination or image in the project.
If the source image has sufficient quality but the generated cover is still blurry, use the Ezus Help Chat so the template configuration can be checked.
Why doesn't my cover image change?
The cover image is automatically retrieved from the first sub-destination of the project.
If you want to update the cover image, first identify which sub-destination is controlling it:
Identify the first sub-destination of your project.
Go to Catalog > Destinations.
Find the destination containing that sub-destination.
Click the eye icon next to the relevant sub-destination.
Check the media associated with it.
Update the order of the relevant media so the desired image goes on position 1.
Generate the Web Page again to check the result.
⚠️ Updating the media of another destination or sub-destination will not change the cover if it is not the first sub-destination of the project.
💡 After changing the media, generate the Web Page again. The already generated Web Page will not automatically reflect changes made to the source information.
Why is an image not displayed on my Web Page?
Start by checking the source information in Ezus before modifying your HTML template.
Identify which element should provide the image, for example a destination or another element used by the Web Page. If you are not sure which element in Ezus provides the image, you can use an AI assistant to help identify it.
Take a screenshot of the image as it appears on your generated Web Page and copy the HTML of the corresponding section from your Web Page template.
Then use this prompt:
💬 I have an image in my generated Ezus Web Page that is missing, incorrect, or that I want to replace.
I have attached a screenshot showing the relevant part of the generated Web Page.
Here is the HTML corresponding to this section:
[Paste the relevant HTML here]
Please identify which Ezus variable or HTML element is responsible for displaying this image and explain, based only on the code provided, where the image is likely being retrieved from in Ezus (for example, a destination, sub-destination, product, step, supplier, or another object).
Then tell me what I should check in Ezus.
Do not invent an Ezus variable or location if the source cannot be determined from the HTML. If you need more code or information to identify it, tell me exactly what I need to provide.
💡 You don't need to paste the entire HTML template. Start with the section surrounding the image. If the image is inside a loop, include the beginning of the loop (
{% for ... %}) and its corresponding{% endfor %}so the AI can identify the object being used.Open that element in Ezus.
Check that the expected image is actually associated with it.
If the image is missing, add it.
Generate the Web Page again and check the result.
If the image exists in Ezus but still does not appear, the problem may come from the template configuration or a filter controlling which images are displayed.
At this point, check the variable or HTML responsible for displaying the image before replacing it.
If you cannot identify the cause, use the Ezus Help Chat and provide the project, template and missing image so the configuration can be checked.
Why does the map show the wrong location?
The map uses the sub-destination name and destination to identify the location in Google Maps.
If a sub-destination has a name that exists in several countries or regions, Google Maps may identify the wrong location. This can also happen when the name entered in Ezus is not specific enough for Google Maps to find the correct place.
For example, Cartagena can refer to different cities. If Google Maps identifies the wrong one, make the sub-destination name more specific by adding the country:
Cartagena → Cartagena, Colombia
To correct the location:
Check the sub-destination name used in your project.
If the name is ambiguous or Google Maps cannot identify it correctly, edit the sub-destination name to make the location more specific.
For example, add the country or other relevant geographical information:
Cartagena, Colombia.Generate the Web Page again.
Check that the map now displays the correct location.
💡 If the location has a common or ambiguous name, adding the country to the sub-destination name can help Google Maps identify the correct place.
⚠️ If Google Maps still cannot identify the correct location after making the sub-destination name more specific, use the Ezus Help Chat so an Ezus team member can help you investigate it.
Why doesn't the transport duration display correctly?
Start by checking the transport itself. Make sure the transport used in the project contains the information you expect to display.
If the information exists in Ezus but the duration still does not appear correctly, check the HTML template.
In an HTML template, transport information is retrieved from the current transport object. Depending on the structure of the loop, you may encounter:
{{ transport.duration }}
If this does not display correctly, do not immediately replace the variable. First check which transport object is defined by the surrounding loop.
You can ask an AI assistant to inspect it:
💬 The transport duration in my Ezus Web Page is not displaying correctly.
The template currently uses:
{{ transport.duration }}
Please inspect the transport loop and the duration variable used inside it.
Keep the existing Ezus logic and use the object already defined by the loop. Do not change unrelated variables, loops, HTML or styling.
Here is the relevant HTML:
[Paste the transport loop and surrounding HTML here]
⚠️ Variables inside loops must correspond to the current object defined by that loop. Check the surrounding loop before changing the variable.
Why does an overnight flight appear on two days?
An overnight flight can currently appear on both the departure day and arrival day, with the departure time repeated on the arrival day. This behavior has been reported for Web Pages.
For example, if a flight leaves late on Day 2 and arrives on Day 3, you may see the flight information on both days.
This is not necessarily caused by incorrect information in your project.
If you encounter this behavior and need a different display, use the Ezus Help Chat and provide the affected project and Web Page so an Ezus team member can check whether the template can be adapted.
Why does my HTML variable display nothing?
Before changing the variable, first check whether the information you are trying to display actually exists in Ezus.
Then:
Identify the variable that is not displaying.
Identify where the information comes from in Ezus.
Check that the corresponding information has a value.
Determine whether the variable is outside or inside a loop.
Check that the variable uses the correct syntax for that context.
Generate the Web Page again after making the correction.
Classic variables outside loops and variables referring to the current object inside a loop use different syntax.
For example, inside a loop:
{% for day in days %} {{ day.title }} {% endfor %}Here, day.title refers to the current day defined by the loop.
If the source information exists but the variable remains empty, check its syntax and context before replacing it.

Why does my loop display nothing?
A loop can only display items that actually exist in the collection it is trying to retrieve.
Before editing the HTML, check that your test project contains the type of information the loop is supposed to display.
Then inspect the loop itself:
Check the collection used in
{% for ... %}.Check the name assigned to the current object.
Check that the variables inside the loop use that object correctly.
Check that the loop has its corresponding
{% endfor %}.
For example, if you are testing a loop intended to display days, make sure the project actually contains the relevant program information before concluding that the HTML is incorrect.
You can also ask an AI assistant:
💬 This loop in my Ezus HTML template is not displaying any content.
Please check the loop structure and the variables inside it.
Do not invent Ezus variables or change the purpose of the loop. Identify any structural or syntax problem and make only the changes necessary to correct it.
Here is the HTML:
[Paste the complete loop here]
After making the correction, generate the Web Page again using a project that contains the expected information.
Why is content repeated several times?
Repeated content is often related to the position of a loop in the HTML.
A loop starts with:
{% for ... %}
and ends with:
{% endfor %}
Everything placed between these two elements is repeated for each corresponding item.
For example, if an entire section is inside a loop that runs once for each day, the entire section will be generated once per day.
To troubleshoot:
Identify exactly which content is being repeated.
Find the
{% for ... %}immediately before it.Find its corresponding
{% endfor %}.Check whether content that should appear only once has accidentally been placed inside the loop.
You can use an AI assistant:
💬 Part of my Ezus Web Page is repeating several times.
Please inspect the loop boundaries in this HTML and identify which content is being repeated.
I only want the following content to repeat:
[Describe what should repeat]
Do not modify Ezus variables or unrelated sections.
HTML:
[Paste the relevant HTML here]
Why is information displayed under the wrong day?
This can happen when information is placed in the wrong day or item context inside the HTML.
In templates containing nested loops, information related to a specific day should remain inside the structure corresponding to that day.
For example, Steps belonging to a day should be retrieved within the relevant day structure rather than independently from it.
To troubleshoot:
Identify one example where information appears under the wrong day.
Check the source project and confirm which day it actually belongs to.
Locate that information in the HTML.
Check the surrounding day and item loops.
Make sure the content has not been placed outside its intended loop.
If you are unsure, you can ask an AI assistant:
💬 Some information in my Ezus Web Page appears under the wrong day.
Please inspect the existing day and item loops and identify whether any content is outside its intended loop.
Do not invent new Ezus variables or change the page design.
Here is the relevant HTML:
[Paste the HTML here]
Why doesn't my custom field display anything?
First, check the custom field itself before modifying the Web Page template.
You need to verify:
That the custom field contains a value.
That the template uses its technical name, not only its display name.
Where the custom field was created.
Which object the HTML is accessing when it tries to display the field.
This is important because a custom field attached to a Supplier, Product, Step or another object needs to be accessed in the appropriate context.
For example, having a value in a Product custom field does not automatically mean that the same field can be retrieved from a Step context.
If the field contains a value but you cannot determine the correct technical name or context, use the Ezus Help Chat rather than replacing the variable with an unrelated one
Why did my Web Page stop working after I edited the HTML?
A small HTML or template syntax error can affect an entire section — or even the rest of the Web Page.
Start with the last change you made rather than rewriting the whole template.
Check:
Opening and closing HTML tags.
{% for ... %}and{% endfor %}.Brackets.
Quotation marks.
Ezus variables.
The HTML structure immediately surrounding your modification.
If you duplicated the template before editing it, compare the modified area with the original version. This can help you identify exactly what changed.
You can also ask an AI assistant:
💬 My Ezus Web Page stopped working after I made a change to this HTML.
Please identify any broken HTML structure, unclosed tags, loops, quotation marks or syntax errors.
Preserve all existing Ezus variables and template logic. Do not redesign or rewrite the template. Make only the minimum changes necessary to correct the problem.
Here is my HTML:
[Paste the relevant HTML here]
⚠️ Make the correction on your duplicated template first and generate the Web Page again before applying it to a customer project.
Why doesn't a Slides modifier work in my Web Page?
Slides and Web Pages do not use exactly the same template logic.
Slides-specific modifiers such as:
&&@@#--#
should not simply be copied into an HTML template.
If you have copied a variable or piece of logic from a Slides template into a Web Page:
Identify the result you want to achieve.
Remove the assumption that the Slides modifier will work in HTML.
Check the corresponding HTML method for displaying, looping or conditionally showing that content.
Generate and test the Web Page after making the change.
👉 Use variables and loops in HTML templates
👉 Filter and conditionally display content in HTML templates
Why are line breaks from my custom field not displayed?
First, check the custom field in Ezus and confirm that the text actually contains the expected line breaks.
If the line breaks exist in the source information but the Web Page displays the text continuously, the HTML styling may not be preserving them.
Supported CSS approaches include:
white-space: pre-line;
or:
white-space: pre-wrap;
If you want an AI assistant to add this without affecting the rest of the page:
💬 The following custom field in my Ezus Web Page contains line breaks, but they are not displayed correctly.
Please preserve the line breaks using an appropriate white-space CSS property.
Do not change the Ezus variable, other styling or the surrounding template logic.
Here is the relevant HTML and CSS:
[Paste the relevant HTML and CSS here]
After making the change, generate the Web Page again and check a custom field containing multiple lines to confirm that the formatting is preserved.
Why does my Web Page look correct on desktop but wrong on mobile?
Web Pages can display differently depending on the screen size. If a section looks correct on desktop but not on mobile, the issue may come from the responsive HTML or CSS used by that section.
Before changing anything:
Open the generated Web Page on desktop.
Open the same Web Page on a mobile device or smaller screen.
Identify the exact section that changes unexpectedly.
Check whether the issue affects text, images, columns, spacing or another layout element.
Modify only the responsive HTML/CSS responsible for that section.
You can then ask an AI assistant:
💬 This section of my Ezus Web Page displays correctly on desktop but incorrectly on mobile.
Please inspect only the responsive HTML/CSS for this section and adapt it for smaller screens.
Preserve the desktop appearance as much as possible. Do not modify any Ezus variables, loops or template logic.
Here is the relevant HTML and CSS:
[Paste the relevant HTML and CSS here]
⚠️ Test the generated Web Page on both desktop and mobile after making responsive changes.
Still need help?
If you have followed the troubleshooting steps and the issue remains, use the Ezus Help Chat.
To help the Ezus team investigate more quickly, provide:
The affected template
The project you are testing with
A screenshot of the current result
A short explanation of what you expected to see instead
The steps you have already tried
This gives the team the context needed to reproduce the issue and check the relevant configuration.
