In Ezus, you can associate Google Slides templates with different elements of your Catalog. These Slides can then be retrieved and used when generating presentations from your projects.
Slides can be associated with:
Products
Sub-destinations
Suppliers
Steps
⚠️ Although you can create Slides for Suppliers, there is no separate Supplier block in Slides document templates. Supplier Slides are retrieved through the configuration of other blocks, such as the Products block.
The creation process is similar for each type of element.
1. What are Catalog Slides?
Catalog Slides are reusable Google Slides templates associated with a specific element in Ezus.
For example, you can create Slides for a Product to present that product, a Slide for a Supplier, or Slides for a sub-destination to introduce that part of the itinerary.
When the corresponding element is used in a project, Ezus can retrieve its associated Slides depending on the configuration of the relevant block in your presentation template.
This allows you to prepare the visual content once in your Catalog and reuse it across different projects.
⚠️ For destinations, Slides are associated at the sub-destination level, not at the destination level.
2. Create a Slide
Open the Slide tab in models.
From here, you can create and manage the Google Slides templates associated with that element.
The creation process works in the same way regardless of the type of element you are working with.
3. Customize your Slide
The Slide works as a Google Slides template, so you can create and format the content according to the presentation you want to generate.
You can also add Ezus variables to automatically display information when the Slide is used.
Depending on the context, you can use variables related to the element the Slide belongs to, as well as the usual variables available in Ezus.
🔭 See Use variables in Catalog Slides to learn how to add dynamic information to these templates.
4. How are these Slides used?
Creating a Slide in the Catalog does not mean that it will automatically appear in every presentation.
When configuring a Slides document template, the block determines which Catalog Slides are retrieved and included in the generated presentation.
For example:
A Products block can retrieve Slides associated with Products used in the project.
A Destination block retrieves Slides associated with the relevant sub-destinations.
A Steps block can retrieve Slides associated with the relevant sample Steps.
Supplier Slides do not have their own Supplier block. They can be retrieved through a block that supports them, such as the Products block.
This separates the two parts of the workflow:
Catalog → Create and maintain the reusable Slides associated with your elements.
Slides template → Decide how those Slides are retrieved and included in the generated presentation.
5. Include Supplier Slides through a Products block
A Supplier can have its own Slide in the Catalog, but there is no Supplier block in a Slides document template.
Instead, when configuring a Products block, the Duplicate the slides setting determines which associated Slides are included.
You can choose:
Do not duplicate the slides
Only products slides
All the slides (product, supplier and package)
To retrieve the Slides associated with the Supplier as well as the Product and Package, select:
All the slides (product, supplier and package)
If you do not select an option that includes Supplier Slides, the Supplier Slide will not be retrieved separately through the Products block.
💡 If you do not want to retrieve a separate Supplier Slide, you can also include the relevant Supplier content directly in the Product Slide.
🔭 See Understanding blocks in Slides templates to learn more about the Products, Destination and Steps blocks and their configuration options.
💡 If you update a Catalog Slide, check the result by generating a presentation from a representative project containing that element.
