A Page block gives you full control over the content of a page in your Description template.
Use it when you want to create your own layout rather than use content automatically generated by Ezus.
1. Add a Page block
Open your Description template or create a new one.
Add a Page block where you want a customized page to appear in your document.
2. Customize your page
A Page block can be customized with the content and layout you want to include in the final document.
You can use it, for example, to create pages such as:
A cover
An introduction
General project information
Terms or additional information
Other customized sections of your document
3. Add variables
You can add variables to your Page block to automatically retrieve information from the project when the Description is generated.
To find the variables available to you, go to the top-left corner of the editor and open the Variable Drawer. Here, you can browse the available variables and select the information you want to include in your page.
This allows you to create one reusable template while adapting its content to each project.
For example, instead of manually entering project information every time, you can place the corresponding variable in your template.
💡Use static content for information that remains the same across projects and variables for information that needs to change from one project to another.
4. Check the generated page
After configuring your Page block, generate the Description from a project and check that the content and variables appear as expected.
