Description templates define the structure of the documents you generate from your projects. You can combine fully customizable pages with content automatically retrieved from Ezus.
1. Create a Description template
Go to:
Templates > Documents > Descriptions
From here, create a new Description template or open an existing one to modify it.
Once inside the template, you can organize your document using different blocks.
2. Add blocks to your template
Description templates can contain two types of blocks:
Block | Purpose |
Page | Create a fully customizable page using your own content and variables |
Program | Automatically include information from the project |
You can use these blocks to build the structure that will be reused whenever you generate the Description.
3. Use Page blocks
A Page is a fully customizable document page.
You can design its content and add variables to automatically retrieve information when the document is generated.
This works similarly to customizable pages in other Ezus document templates.

4. Use Program blocks
A Program block is automatically generated by Ezus using elements from the project associated with products and suppliers.
Unlike a Page block, you do not need to manually create all of this content in the template: the relevant elements are added when the Description is generated.
The resulting information can then be modified from the Description generated in the project.
