In addition to choosing the overall level of detail, your quote template lets you control specific information such as product descriptions, notes, dates, times and option prices.
1. Configure the information displayed
Go to your quote template and find the Display settings all the way to the bottom.
From here, you can choose whether to display:
Short product descriptions
Product notes
Transport dates
Times for Steps, Transports or Accommodations
Total selling price of options
Select the information that is useful to your customers and leave unnecessary information hidden.
💡Think about the purpose of the quote when choosing what to display. A commercial proposal may benefit from product descriptions, while a simpler pricing document may require less information.
2. Display product descriptions and notes
Enable Short product descriptions if you want the descriptions associated with your products to appear in the quote.
You can also enable Product notes when you want the corresponding notes to be included.
This allows you to provide additional context about a product without changing the overall level of detail of the quote.
3. Display dates and times
You can choose to display Transport dates in your quote.
You can also display the times associated with:
Steps
Transports
Accommodations
4. Display the price of options
You can choose to display the Total selling price of options.
For the price of options to appear, the quote must be configured as a detailed quote.
⚠️ If your quote is not detailed, the total selling price of options will not be displayed even if you want to include it.
